Colorado-based photographer Richard Mauro Ricchiuti was born to first generation Italians in Brooklyn, New York.

His Brooklyn backdrop led to his eye for the unusual. Seeing became a passion, maybe to an obsessive level. Richard says, "I love/have to watch movies for example, over and over because I'm so consumed by the details (light, angles, color, movement/position)."

Richard is sought by many commercial organizations and corporations. He shoots corporate events throughout Colorado and neighboring states.

Many nonprofit organizations have expressed their gratefulness for his philanthropic offerings of gratis work. He is seen at many nonprofit events and behind the scenes shooting internally; be it marketing or products, or as simple as head shots for boards and staff.

"Images are just part of the story..." Richard's art is stream of consciousness in many ways and seeks to peer into the state of mind of individuals and trends, attempting to provoke ideas, thoughts and [addictions in an emotional sense].

His experience with his community and the public in general have made the world a much smaller place. He has experience working in both commercial and Community/Public radio, where he produced/hosted specialty music and talk programs for over ten years.

He is also the Group Fitness Manager for Miramont Lifestyle Fitness Clubs in Northern Colroado and a Certified Group Fitness instructor.

Richard shoots exclusively with Canon Digital SLR cameras, lenses and accessories.
